I love the idea of spicing up last year’s simple dark coat with all kinds of military inspired embellishments.

But it also works on the new season’s key piece the Camel coat! 

So, better start searching your favourite vintage stores or local flea markets for old brooches and medals to create your very unique military look for this fall.

One of the most versatile and simple pieces to wear right now is definitely a powder toned chemise en soie. To me, silk shirts are the surprise hit of the season yet totally season-less.

For the très Parisiènne look wear it all buttoned up with fine gold jewelry and a vintage belt (this one’s from Kiliwatch, Nati’s favourite vintage destination!).

A classic silk blouse will soften summer’s utility trend (perfect with khaki shorts!) and solve any pre-fall outfit dilemma while it leaves the floor to statement accessories and fine jewelry. The best brand? Equipment offers classic-cut silk blouses in creamy white or powdery beige at a reasonable price point.

Very ’summer in the city-ish’! The soft shade enhances a summer tan (working on mine right now!) and looks completely effortless when left unbuttoned.

KASIA SMUTNIAK is the face of Armani’s new fragrance IDOLE d’ ARMANI. Just another blonde model from Eastern Europe who landed a fragrance campaign? Certainly more than that! In the current French VOGUE issue she shows us how to pull off a red Armani-leather blazer (used to be on top of my personal list of pieces that can never possibly look good on anyone!): Mix it with a simple Acne tee plus vintage jeans & jewelry et VOILÀ!

Kasia chose Rome to be her residence and claims that the city has influenced her (life)style in many ways: “The pavement in Rome makes it impossible to wear heels!”. That is why flat shoes – mostly “Converse, ballerines and vintage boots”- are an essential part of her wardrobe. She mixes “très casual” with spectacular pieces that she gets from a friend who designs costumes for movies. Her fashion no-no? Platform shoes! OOOUPS…

The biggest shopping event of the year Fashion’s Night Out is approaching and we can’t wait to get our hands on these fabulous tees, which were especially designed for this occasion…

Fashion’s Night Out is an initiative by VOGUE in order to support retail and make customers confident about shopping again, in short: FIGHT RECESSION! The event will take place in thirteen different countries, all on September 10th. However, the format of the event will be very different across countries: In New York and London FNO is gonna be accessible for everyone and will range from designer labels to highstreet giants like Topshop or Zara. In Paris, instead, the event is by invitation only and includes selected stores on and near Rue Montaigne.

If you happen to be in on of the participating cities in September, don’t miss out on this big night…there will be plenty of fun events and the chance to catch up with your favourite VOGUETTES, who will be on the spot to give fashion advice!
