Marc Jacobs just won the CFDA award for Womenswear designer of the year. This was soo well deserved considering his wonderful fall collection!

The best dressed women of the evening were wearing Marc of course!

Usually, I’m more the “pink kind of girl“…but lately I realized that I might be even more drawn to red…its all in the details:

Red Timex watch, bought at chez Maman in Paris (coolest watch shop ever!!!)…

… O.P.I. big apple red (I’m wearing it non-stop)…

Marc Jacobs lipstick pen, my most stylish school accessory (seriously, I get lots of compliments about it, it even grasps the attention of the teachers…haha)

…and finally my beloved Prego bikerboots with the red zipper at the back…

Red is my new pink ;-) !!

I’ve always been a fan of Marc’s work, but this is the first time, I really fell in love with it!

It all just worked for me: the grays and beiges, the A-lines, the little fur details, the romantic touch…it all seemed so fresh, effortless and above all genuine.

The show was great, too. Its the first time, I actually watched a live stream and it was definitely worth it staying up until 2am.

Les Coupines agree: this has been one of the best Marc Jacobs shows so far!! Have a look at the whole collection here.
