9. RAG & BONE bright blue shorts

Shorts and little jumpers is pretty much all I’m wearing in summer. Great combo as I can dress it up or down! What will you be wearing;-)?

This fall is the first time ever Proenza Schouler publishes an ad campaign and they have done a pretty good job:

Shot by photographer Daniel Jackson, featuring twin models Ann and Kirby Kenny as well as in vogue model Tati Cotliar, who totally rock the label’s look of “preppy gone grunge”.

Watch the behind the scenes video of the shoot here. Also, Proenza Schouler teamed up with experimental filmmaker Harmony Korine to produce a little movie for the collection, which will be airing on their website in September. The pink hair trend was spotted on this Spring’s runway shows of Giles, Zac Posen and with some variations also at Proenza Schouler. At first, I was a bit skeptical about the actual wearability of this trend…but now that I saw it on favourite Swedish fashionblogger Carolina , I think its kinda cute!!

These brand new Proenza Schouler babies were just spotted by Tommy Ton during Paris Fashion Week.

I just loved their whole Fall 10 collection and I have to admit that it is probably yet again my favourite one from all the shows shown during the last weeks!! As for the shoes, there’re just insane and, yes true, the association with hooves might not be far away…STILL I like a lot!

Time during fashion weeks is CRAZY…it almost feels like being in a race against your blogreader, trying to keep up with all that new fashion material each day. There are so many new pictures and inspirations, it’s total information overload – in a good way! So, while all the attention already shifted to London, I am still catching up with New York! Voila, a few of my personal highlights from NY fashion week…

Proenza Schouler’s runway collection was my absolute favourite. Lazaro and Jack mixed sporty elements, modern tie-dyes, wild prints and very short dresses to create the perfect vision of THE cool girl.

During Fashion Week, streets are usually crowded with über-stylish people. I always love the pictures of former Teen Vogue contributor Taylor Tomasi. She has such a fresh and quirky style with a special twist to each of her outfits. Just take these crazy, sky-high Kenzo platforms she rocks on the above picture.

Lastly, I am totally excited about those loose braids spotted chez Alex Wang. Perfect, effortless hairstyling for the summer.
