Despite her 17 years, Karlie Kloss is one of the most desired models in the industry!! She is kind of omnipresent, but still I never get tired of watching her! This month she scored two amazing editorials in Vogue UK and Teen Vogue. Although, she goes fine in very glamorous looks, I really like her in these sports inspired outfits (particularly the A.Wang pieces!!) and very natural as an “all Amercian girl”.

Time during fashion weeks is CRAZY…it almost feels like being in a race against your blogreader, trying to keep up with all that new fashion material each day. There are so many new pictures and inspirations, it’s total information overload – in a good way! So, while all the attention already shifted to London, I am still catching up with New York! Voila, a few of my personal highlights from NY fashion week…

Proenza Schouler’s runway collection was my absolute favourite. Lazaro and Jack mixed sporty elements, modern tie-dyes, wild prints and very short dresses to create the perfect vision of THE cool girl.

During Fashion Week, streets are usually crowded with über-stylish people. I always love the pictures of former Teen Vogue contributor Taylor Tomasi. She has such a fresh and quirky style with a special twist to each of her outfits. Just take these crazy, sky-high Kenzo platforms she rocks on the above picture.

Lastly, I am totally excited about those loose braids spotted chez Alex Wang. Perfect, effortless hairstyling for the summer.

The biggest shopping event of the year Fashion’s Night Out is approaching and we can’t wait to get our hands on these fabulous tees, which were especially designed for this occasion…

Fashion’s Night Out is an initiative by VOGUE in order to support retail and make customers confident about shopping again, in short: FIGHT RECESSION! The event will take place in thirteen different countries, all on September 10th. However, the format of the event will be very different across countries: In New York and London FNO is gonna be accessible for everyone and will range from designer labels to highstreet giants like Topshop or Zara. In Paris, instead, the event is by invitation only and includes selected stores on and near Rue Montaigne.

If you happen to be in on of the participating cities in September, don’t miss out on this big night…there will be plenty of fun events and the chance to catch up with your favourite VOGUETTES, who will be on the spot to give fashion advice!

There will also be some great T-shirts to commemorate the night..our favourites are the US one featuring the skyline of NY (enter the Teen Vogue contest to customize your tee) and the British one! The tees are a MUST: they make a strong statement, look great and the proceeds are for a good cause…YES, we NEED!
