It’s Friday! FINALLY. Here’s my fantasy shopping list for the weekend (on which I was supposed to go to the Locarno film festival but had to cancel because of the disastrous weather forecast!).

Nude tones spiced up with a bright red are my favourite right now even though I couldn’t get myself to try on the Isabel Marant-ish leather pants. They are cool but not for me. I would go for the Céline box bag in chilli red instead:-). Since pointy shoes are making a comeback, the Louboutin ‘Pigalles’ will be a safe investment for fall. Oh and I have to look out for this Aurélie Bidermann ring. Right now, she is the most talented jewelry designer around.

Now looking forward to spend some quality time with my dearest sister.

It’s actually fun to mix summer wardrobe staples with NEW SEASON pieces. And it usually makes for an unexpected, cool outfit that feels fresh while giving you the confidence that only well worn-in things can give. I love how my sister paired her new budapester brogues, which she got here in Italy, with a white lace dress (recalling an Isabel Marant lace number that sold out way too fast!) and classic Wayfarers.

I think that classic brogues look especially cute on small feet:-). Sarah found these in the most random store here at the lake.

Here’s a close-up of the dress. It’s semi-sheer and really soft.

Sarah has the “Wayfarer” face – so unlike me! It’s important to find a classic pair of sunglasses that suit you well and that can sort of complement any outfit.

A classic satchel bag like Chloé’s Elsie makes this simple outfit all the more polished.

Let me officially introduce to you my fabulous sister and – at the same time- my best real-life-fashion-friend.

I like this serious picture of her.

But she’s actually more like THIS! Like laughing a lot. And dirty.

To be honest it was a little too hot for FAUX FUR when we shot fall outfits on Sunday. But then again you have to work a trend when it’s hot, right;-)? And apparently faux fur is one of the hottest things right now! So hurry up, weather!

My sister and this faux fur vest was LOVE at first sight! She spotted it (well, I saw it first…), put it on and it instantly matched her entire look. Maybe because they are both blonde;-).

She-Ra a.k.a. the Princess of Power was the super heroine of my sister and I when we were kids (actually we were not allowed to watch the cartoon on TV – which made She-Ra and her male equivalent He-Man even more interesting!). So when TOPSHOP launched a t-shirt collection (a while back) with the 80’s-comic figure Sarah obviously had to get one. The She-Ra tee quickly made its way up to the top of favourite t-shirts and has been much loved since. With a little help of these awesome Fendi-booties and a printed summer skirt we thought it would make a post-worthy outfit.

Watch out for Miss She-Ra and her Fendis: higher fashion-power!

The booties are made of black suede with a mesh-like material in the front and cool zippers in the back. Perfect for a smooth transition into fall! Damn, I wish we had the same shoe size…
