My favorite off-catwalk style so far! I love how this stylish Dries van Noten show-goer expertly mixes different prints, colors and materials. By the way, a super-smart VOGUE editor once said ‘If you can’t match it, CLASH it!’. Remember that when you are desperate in front of your closet;-). X
French VoguetteGéraldine Saglio was keeping it simple at the DRIES VAN NOTEN show today. Love the black-everything ensemble and her classic accessories! It reminds me of Milan… Note Emanuelle Alt in the background rocking her signature outfit: rolled up jeans, pointy heels and smoking blazer. X
Vogue US just revealed an inside look at THE fashion wedding of the year with a collection of amazing and partially never-seen-before shots by no other than superstar photographer Mario Testino. You HAVE to check this out! It’s gonna be the new benchmark for a dream wedding, seriously! My favourite take? The above is an hommage to Mick & Bianca Jagger’s backseat wedding portrait from 1971. Major!
Oh and the bridemaids line-up wasn’t bad either! From left: Stella McCartney, Vivienne Westwood, Jess Hallett, Kate Moss, Rosemary Ferguson.
Bottom row, from left: Sadie Frost, Lucie de la Falaise.
As you can see its ALL about the righthead accessory! I mean how CUTE are those fur & pearl ear muffs?? ;)
Creative director Laetitia Crahay, who also designs Chanel accessories and jewelry, really does the best heats and headbands…if it just wasn’t for the high price tag! So better start saving up, or go Vintage/ DIY!
OMG, I just LOVE the cover shoot they did on the ‘American Indian’ trend with Toni Garrn. Spanish Vogue is simply amazing. Am currently trying to figure out how to get my hands on as much Native-inspired jewelry as possible to recreate the look. Taking this Isabel Marant necklace to start with:
Can’t believe it’s Friday again/finally! Time flies. Just one more week until SPRING BREAK! I am escaping to one of my favourite places in the world: Milano (the capital of CHICISTAN). What are your plans?
Xx
This picture of Garance’s new heels reminds me of Milan so much! Probably because camouflage prints and Prada heels are essential components of the Milanese signature style;-).
This mini version of the Chloé Elsie bag belongs to Aura Sansone, fashion editor at Vogue Nippon and honorary citizen of Chicistan.
Love the double-denim look! So easy.
Another element of the Milanese style kit: a Fendi logo bag.
Aura again. Captured by the Sartorialist in the streets of Milan.
If Chic-istan is a place on earth, Viviana Volpicella is its first lady (and Scott Schuman is her paparazzo). The best thing about any of her looks? The SMILE :-). Simply stunning.
Sharing some of my MK Olsen favourites. I can’t believe how old some of these pictures are! But still her look feels so relevant. From the XL beach waves to the multigringed hands and those slouchy tops with heels – she is definitely a modern icon. And will inspire the style of generations to come.
