Olivia Palermo attending the Markus Lupfer presentation at Soho House Berlin today.
Actually Olivia is real petite. I didn’t even recognize her at first sight when she walked into the lobby of Soho House. She was wearing this white draped dress which she tucked into a Markus Lupfer fringy skirt and belted it with a signature silk scarf. Oh and she was standing on her toes the entire time for the pictures:-). So cute!
It was a really hot day in Berlin and I wonder how she managed to look so fresh! I’d love to see a make-up tutorial of Olivia Palermo – her complexion was really flawless and evenly tanned.
UK based designer Markus Lupfer and Olivia Palermo posing for the photographers. By the way his collections are really great! I hope to see more of him over here.
So don’t get me wrong here! By no means I want to promote smoking on this blog, I’m actually a total anti-smokerand never even tried it…But still, since I’m living in Paris, I cannot deny it anymore: all the cool people do it…and come on, it looks damnsexy, non?!!
I especially love this short movie of one of my all time favourite bloggers Gala:
I love this picture of Dianeplaying boules in Chanel. Her outfit is pure perfection: the mix of black&white, the texture of the skirt, the loose braid tied together with a ribbon (note to myself: that is how to wear the hair all summer long), the Panama hat…
Thanks to Garance for sharing the pics of this very intimate Chanel event in St. Tropez, they made my day, here in rainy Paris!
J’ adore the very particular, slightly spooky mood of this short movie with Lindsay Wixson and Mariacarla Boscono shot in 34, Avenue Foch, the location of MiuMiu’s last fashionshow here in Paris.
Sorry for the recent lack of posts, I’m gonna be back with more very soon!
Despite her 17 years, KarlieKloss is one of the most desired models in the industry!! She is kind of omnipresent, but still I never get tired of watching her! This month she scored two amazing editorials in Vogue UK and Teen Vogue. Although, she goes fine in very glamorous looks, I really like her in these sports inspired outfits (particularly the A.Wang pieces!!) and very natural as an “all Amercian girl”.
Check out this editorial with Abbey Lee Kershaw for the April issue of Vogue Korea. It features all the best pieces of this SpringBurberry Collection. Love the artful styling – pure eyecandy!
These brand newProenza Schoulerbabies were just spotted by Tommy Ton during Paris Fashion Week.
I just loved their whole Fall 10 collection and I have to admit that it is probably yet again my favourite one from all the shows shown during the last weeks!! As for the shoes, there’re just insane and, yes true, the association with hooves might not be far away…STILL I like a lot!
Todd Selby is the number one source of inspiration when it comes to creative interiors. The new media, more tasteful version of good old MTV cribs (I bet we all watched it at one point…) coveres the homes/ offices of the most coveted artists, models and creative minds like Julia Restoin-Roitfeld, Erin Wasson, Oliver Zahm and Alex Wang, to name a few. Now the Selby is finally releasing a book:
It contains over 30 profiles, accompanied by Todd’s famous watercolor portraits and small interviews, of which most have not been published before on the Selby site. The book is launching on April 1st, but there will be an exclusive pre-sale chez Colette this week, with lots of cool events ranging from Karaoke, to interior consultation and the possibility to get a portrait of your pet.
So, guess where I will be heading today to get my version of the book…?
I just love Todd’s eye for small, random details and his artsy/crazy motives.
Here is an absolutely directional editorial for the new season which I (surprisingly) stumbled upon in the February issue of French Glamour. Now don’t get me wrong here: Glamour is fine and all that! Just usually very commercial and not the kind of material I get inspired by. This editorial, however, sums up everything I need for S/S 10: a laid-back 70’s attitude mixed with some good old Hollywood glam and a doze of rock’n roll to spice it up. Yummie! Think oversized 70’s sunnies, denim shorts, floral prints, lots of MUSTARD shades and platform wedge heels.
Leave it to Carine & Co to push the limits of aesthetics…Among the recent overflow of too pretty, military inspired editorials, this is the first one I really like, cause it dares to be different and truely fierce.
Can’t wait to hold the actual new issue of Vogue Parisin my hands.
On this Valentines’s day it seems the right time to pay homage to all of those hot and cute couples out there. They seem to be very en vogue lately, especially in Paris. Some of the most hip Parisian labels, Zadig & Voltaire and the Kooples have been using the theme for their ad campaigns several seasons in a row.
For the coming season, Mark Ronson and Josephine de la Baume are starring in the new Zadig & Voltaire ads. Last season the choice was for the couple du jourSean Lennon and Charlotte Kemp, defenitely the hottest duo out there, as proven by the latest issue of Jalouse Magazine.
And voila, some of the super hip couples appearing in the new the Kooples ad series:
So, even as the most notorious single, you cannot help but love them, right?!
Happy V-day to all of you hot couples and hot singles out there!
