Yesterday, we had a look at how some of our favourite fashion girls wear the Isabel Marant fishnet tank…
As for me, I defenitely prefer it in black and that is how I would style it…for day:

1. Splendid simple black tanktop
2. Zadig & Voltaire shorts in turquoise
3. Metallic Repetto flats
4. Isabel Marant charm necklace via Net-a-porter
5. Balenciaga Giant Envelope clutch via MyTheresa
6. the one and only styleproduct aka. Bumble&Bumble surfspray ;)
…and at night:

1. T by Alexander Wang stretch skirt in taupe via Net-a-porter
2. Helmut Lang blazer – a true classic – via LaGarconne
3. Miu Miu lace-up ankle boots
4. Alexander Wang Marion Suede shoulder bag
5. YSL ring in black, ivory and amber …we just can’t get enough of the arty rings;)
6. Nars body glow
Now, that I think about it, I REALLY need this fishnet top!!! Too bad it is already sold out online…but I might be lucky and find it during Sales in Paris;)
Keep you posted on that, xx

Currently craving… A LOT. Well, cry me a river, credit card! It’s summer and the girl needs clothes!
So here we go:

2. TOPSHOP airy knit jumper
3. Black ALEXANDER WANG Noemi booties (still haven’t decided if i like the black or the cream ones better) via shopbop.com
4. DIOR Aloha nailpolish (a definite summer essential. Will give OPI’s Big Apple a summer break now)
5. BALENCIAGA belt via yoox.com
6. PROENZA SCHOULER tye-die longsleeve (can’t live without – it’s totally my thing!)
7. BIMBA Y LOLA flamingo cuff (BFF says it’s not so pretty in reality – will check it out when in Paris)

Sharing some of my MK Olsen favourites. I can’t believe how old some of these pictures are! But still her look feels so relevant. From the XL beach waves to the multigringed hands and those slouchy tops with heels – she is definitely a modern icon. And will inspire the style of generations to come.
Off to Berlin for the weekend.
Have a good time out in the sun!

Welcome, to our new post category, the weekly fix. This is our way to share with you interesting finds from other blogs or websites and all the little or big things, which have inspired us during the past week…stay tuned!

Anna dello Russo and Alexander Wang striking a pose in the designer’s new Soho Store.
Of course this week has been all about New York Fashion Week!
1. Even if most of us just follow the shows on lifestream (thanks god for the social media revolution!!), it never hurts to study a little fashion week etiquette, right? Check out Queen Anna’s 10 Fashion Week and 10 Frontrow rules!
2. Get an inside peek into fashion week life with Lane Crawford fashion director and streetsytle star in the making Sarah Rutson, who is writing an online diary for fashionologie.
3. Don’t miss out on Yvan’s hunt strategy during NY fashion week. Watch the 2 part movie by Alexander Klein here and here.
4. Alexander Wang did not only show us a great collection this week, but also opened his first Soho store. It’s sure to be the new fashion mecca for all the cool girls in town!
5. Leaving fashion week craziness for a second: Nowness has given us a very inspirational piece of work this week with Martin de Thurah’s Film I. A surreal mix of darkness and poetry and totally captivating!
Now the journey will continue in London…don’t miss out on the livestreams of Burberry Prorsum, Mark Fast, Topshop Unique…see the whole schedule here.
Happy Friday, xx

After two last collections, I could not really relate to ( never really digged into the flannel + velvet based “Wall Street gone sexy look” from last winter and the mostly white summer collection), I’m officially back under the Wang spell…I’m crazy about EVERY singel look of his cool girl uniform:

… head to toe black, leather pants + cropped jackets, pops of fur…

…the long, slashed satin skirts (for me the ONLY way to work the maxi skirt trend!!) + heavy knits…

French Vogue’s Masquerade Ball on the occasion of their 90th anniversary is already history! Thanks to Jak&Jil I came across these marvelous pics on icanteachyouhowtodoit.com and picked out a few favourites for you;-)! Bon anniversaire, Paris Vogue!

Freja Erichsen

Les Coupines favourite Leigh Lezark

Vanessa Traina with Alexander Wang – they make such a cute couple, don’t they?

Tyra Banks pulling off the spider web

One of my favourites! I think this is so hippie-esque – definitely quite the vibe for the new season!

And here’s the party crowd! Enjoy:-)!

Despite her 17 years, Karlie Kloss is one of the most desired models in the industry!! She is kind of omnipresent, but still I never get tired of watching her! This month she scored two amazing editorials in Vogue UK and Teen Vogue. Although, she goes fine in very glamorous looks, I really like her in these sports inspired outfits (particularly the A.Wang pieces!!) and very natural as an “all Amercian girl”.

Former Teen Vogue editor Taylor Tomasi is one of the coolest girls out there when it comes to creative and quirky styling. Plus, she is incredibly pretty in real life. I was truely stunned when I saw her at the Chloe show this week.

Todd Selby is the number one source of inspiration when it comes to creative interiors. The new media, more tasteful version of good old MTV cribs (I bet we all watched it at one point…) coveres the homes/ offices of the most coveted artists, models and creative minds like Julia Restoin-Roitfeld, Erin Wasson, Oliver Zahm and Alex Wang, to name a few. Now the Selby is finally releasing a book:

It contains over 30 profiles, accompanied by Todd’s famous watercolor portraits and small interviews, of which most have not been published before on the Selby site. The book is launching on April 1st, but there will be an exclusive pre-sale chez Colette this week, with lots of cool events ranging from Karaoke, to interior consultation and the possibility to get a portrait of your pet.
So, guess where I will be heading today to get my version of the book…?
I just love Todd’s eye for small, random details and his artsy/crazy motives.

Time during fashion weeks is CRAZY…it almost feels like being in a race against your blogreader, trying to keep up with all that new fashion material each day. There are so many new pictures and inspirations, it’s total information overload – in a good way! So, while all the attention already shifted to London, I am still catching up with New York! Voila, a few of my personal highlights from NY fashion week…

The first impressions of the new Alexander Wang collection for Spring 2010 really surprised me: here I had expected yet another grunge inspired collection with lots of black leather and sexy denim. However, Alex turned to a more sporty theme, without compromising his usual sexiness, though. Inspired by his collaboration with the GAP earlier this year, he stayed true to the all-American sportswear spirit. He used lots of khaki and grey, red and white rugby stripes and brown leather, all spiced up with some pretty hot leopard peep toe booties. There was one particular elemenent of his collection, which immediately caught my attention: aviator inspired pieces like an aviator cap, a great jacket and little applications all in caramel-brown leather.
I always had a thing for the aviator look, so I started thinking of how to work the look for the upcoming season already…
