I just had the most amazing time with my dearest Coupine during Fashion Week in Paris!
LOVE this picture of her on the way to the Carven show…perfectParis girl style.
Carola was wearing an Equipment blouse with her vintage Kiliwatch leather skirt (a little treasure found during our previous Paris trip), Chanel bag, Bottega Veneta sunnies and her brand new Maje booties!
Kate Moss and Terry Richardson starring in a short movie for Mango’s Fashion Show in Paris.
Mango is playing it big those days with a super fancy runway show hosted at Centre Pompidou. Check out the report of the event by Mango’s new it-girl Andy from stylescrapbook.
This is pretty much what I wanna look like in 2011. Isabel Marant’s S/S 2011 collection sums up all of my New Year’s style resolutions;-). Very simple.
I am a huuuge fan fan of mixing simple cotton sweaters with flirty little skirts! Perfect oufit for a first date…;-)
Yes, OKAY. Isabel Marant’s style hasn’t evolved so much from her previous collections. Even the shoes are the same. But do we care?
LOVE the red! And the hair. And the make-up…
Too bad you can’t really see the jacket in this one. I found it in the buying folder this morning and let me tell you this is THE piece that will instantly lift up all of your summer staples and make any rolled-up-denim-outfit look très Parisienne. TRUST me;-).
Those mini-shorts are so hot! Okay, I honestly would not know where to wear these with a knit sweater (I mean, common!) but that’s what fashion is about: escaping reality.
Wishing you a splendid, happy & utterly stylish New Year!
In between packing for Dubai, detoxing, running errands, trying to make a million things work out, going out with my friends and wasting my time on dates I somehow found a minute to flip through the pics from my Paris weekend. I promise i will share everything with u guys! Sonner or later…So long here’s a snapshot taken on our night out “rive gauche” which was probably the coolest partying I had in years. Paris, you got me!
Have you ever been? If not, this is definitely one of the must-see places for your next Paris trip! It’s a very special place. In every sense.
Nati checking in.
Et voilà! The best-ever breakfast I had in Paris / France in general. They even have a terrace with a little garden (which TRUST ME can be very calming after a weekend packed with shopping, running around town and partying!). I remember that I loved the atmosphere at Hotel Amour. And the delicious croissants :-).
More Paris pics coming soon! I am so ready to go and search for new inspirations.
The Maje F/W 2010 lookbook sums up pretty well what I wanna dress like this fall. Camel blazers & capes, leather, lace, a great classic suit, leo accessories and a dash of bright RED. Perfect. Maje is definitely one of the many things I look forward to seeing in Paris:-).
P.S.: They chose Vanessa Traina to be the face of their new campaign. Seriously, how cool is that?
After weeks of terrible weather and rain, summer seems to be back in Paris!
The weather forecasts for the weekend look perfect and with Bagatelle re-opening after summer break and a great open airparty tomorrow evening by the Eifel tower, things are indeed brightening up.
Enjoy the weekend and this little, oh-so romantic video by Zoe Cassavetas, featuring Louis Vuitton Spring10 pieces. Instantsummer mood guaranteed! xx
Hermès is currently trying hard to update its classic, verrry traditional image by infusing it with ‘Cool Girl Style’. Grandma’s silk carrés put together with an eclectic mix of highstreet and vintage? That basically screams for a stylistic clash pushing its interpereteurs, a gang of real CITY girls from NY, Paris, London & Tokyo in this case, to the limits of their mix & match skills. However, the result – presented on an online platform which can be accessed through the Hermès homepage – is fantastic. Easy, fun and authentic. You can basically breath the “summer in the city” flair. And even the iconic scarfs blend in naturally – like true vintage finds. Trust the girls;-)!
Last week I modeled for a little project of my friend Luisa, who is studying at ESMOD in Paris.
She created the cutest outfit ever, with a perfectly fitting tweed blazer, cropped pants and a little oh-so Parisian hat. Louisa drew her inspirations from men’s wear pieces, in particular the style of our all time favourite beau Chuck Bass.
Attention to all you fashionable ladies in Paris!! Derek Blasberg will be signing his book “Classy – exceptional advice or the extremely modern lady” tomorrow between 6 and 7 pm at Colette.
Of course, Colette has developed some fun stuff to celebrate the occasion:
Wohooo!!! I just found out that my dearest Coupine will stay in Paris and decided this was totally post-worthy! I guess it’s really important to find a place in the world where you just “fit in”. Not only style-wise or socially. But above all it is about finding a place that inspires you and that can give you energy. And the opportunities to get closer to your dreams;-). I feel like Paris can be all that for Nati. Soo happy!
I had already told you about my hat obsession earlier…and indeed I have been buying and wearing lots of hats lately…can’t do in Paris without one!! I have been meaning to post this “hat outfit” for really long:
This is one of my favourite hats. Technically, its not even mine, but I “stole” it from my friend Isa. It’s Vintage and we bought it together chez Episode on Rue Tiquetonne.
