Our first stop today was the famous Jardin des Tuileries and we got the fashion crowd OVERDOSE right away…It was a beautiful Indian-Summer-kind-of day and we had lots of fun hanging out outside the Chloé show and spotting streetstyles from our favorite fashionistas. Season after season, I’m a huge fan of Marant’s effortless and oh so Parisian style! So for next Spring it’s gonna be the sexy Pirate girl look with embellished jackets, hot pink and as always very short dresses. I don’t know about you, but I’m totally digging it !! I had never been a big fan of t-shirts with slogans. There’s something stupid about them. Like you couldn’t speak for yourself or you wouldn’t have the heart to make a verbal statement and had to use your upper body instead…RETARDED, no?! But then again there are statement tees that are just too cool to not like them. Like THIS one! Actually Nati was the first to discover the new interpretation of the all-time-classic LITTLE BLACK DRESS during our trip to Antwerp but it had sold out in her size. So my sister took her chance on this one and ordered it from the Urban Outfitters online-shop.

It’s so totally HER! She just had to have it…

Anna Dello Russo at Dolce Gabbana

In terms of innovation and trendsetting shown on the runway Milan Fashion Week had been rather UNSPECTACULAR. However, the elegance and sexiness shown on the street by Milanese fashionistas amazed me even more. My personal highlight this time: Anna dello Russo (fashion director at large, Vogue Nippon) at the Dolce & Gabbana show. Her daring outfit sums up everything that Milanese fashion is about: classiness, BLACK, playful details & femininity. Aaah and SUNGLASSES! How could I forget…;-).

I have the pleasure to introduce to you one of my most stylish friends: Carla-Fee. We mostly just call her “Fee” which means FAIRY. There is no better word to describe her! She is sweet, gorgeous and has impeccable taste. What I admire most about her art-inspired, feminine way of dressing is the fact that she never tries to be trendy. She doesn’t seem to need approval from anyone or anything. Fee likes a certain piece or combination and that is that.

I had an awesome time these past couple of days. It’s been warm, sunny and beautiful – just like a golden fall should be. And BTW it’s my favourite fashion season!
